Carlin Combined Schools is preparing for the annual administration of the Nevada state-required Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBAC). Grades 3rd-8th & 10th grade will take the assessments the week of April 14-17, 2025. A few reminders: Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before each test and has a healthy breakfast. Encourage your child to do their very best. Remind your child that it is against state testing rules to have phones during testing. We appreciate your partnership in helping Carlin Combined Schools fulfill the state requirement for end-of-year assessments and supporting your child to do their best. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have about state testing this year.
