Welcome to Jackpot Combined School

 
 

Principal Mr. Brian Messmer and Dean of Students Ms. Kim Smith welcome parents and the community to our wonderful school.

Please make sure you call the school @ 775-755-2374 whenever your child will be absent or tardy for school. If your child is running late you must first stop by the main office and check your child in. Classroom doors will remain locked after the bell. Teachers will not open doors without being contacted by the office first.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is an American federal holiday marking the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around King's birthday, January 15. The holiday is similar to holidays set under the Uniform Monday Holiday Act. 

Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister and civil-rights activist who had a seismic impact on race relations in the United States, beginning in the mid-1950s. Among his many efforts, King headed the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC).
